During a conversation with reporters, Trump recalled that three months ago his administration concluded a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to him, this was one of eight wars that the United States has managed to end in the past eight months.

"We are trying to end another (war - ed.), if possible, between russia and Ukraine. So far we have not succeeded, but I think we have made great progress," the US President said.

Previously, Trump has repeatedly stated that his administration is conducting intensive diplomatic efforts to end the war, but did not disclose specific details of the negotiations.
