Shakhtar and Dynamo win in Conference League and improve their positions in standings

On the evening of November 6, the matches of the 3rd round of the UEFA Conference League of the 2025/26 season took place. The tournament has overcome its equator, all nine matches of the second game block have been completed, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Shakhtar Donetsk confidently defeated Icelandic Breiðablik in Krakow, Poland – 2:0. Goals for the Shakhtar were scored by Artem Bondarenko and Kaua Elias. And Kyiv Dynamo defeated Bosnian Zrinjski in Lublin with a score of 6:0.

After three rounds, Shakhtar has 6 points and occupies 10th place, while Dynamo has risen to 24th place with 3 points, which currently closes the play-off zone.

The tournament leaders remain Samsunspor, Celje and Mainz, who have scored 9 points out of 9 possible. Behind them are AEK Larnaca, Lausanne, Rayo Vallecano and Strasbourg (7 points each).

According to the regulations, after six rounds, the eight best teams will directly advance to the 1/8 finals, the clubs from 9th to 24th place will play in the 1/16, and those who will be in positions 25–36 will leave the tournament.

Earlier, the former coach of Kyiv Dynamo József Szabo said that the team has no character.
