National Energy Commission to increase Ukrenergo's electricity transmission tariff by 14.6% to UAH 786.74/MWh in 2026

The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities plans to increase the electricity transmission tariff for the Ukrenergo national power company by UAH 100.51/MWh, or 14.6%, to UAH 786.74/MWh starting in 2026, Interfax-Ukraine reports, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

The report says that the decision was made at a meeting of the energy regulator on Tuesday, November 4, which was broadcast online.

The tariff for renewable energy enterprises was approved at UAH 428.63/MWh, an increase of UAH 69.08/MWh, or 19.2%.

The required income (projected expenses) in the structure of the NPC's transmission tariff for 2026 is UAH 74.33 billion.

The largest share in the transmission tariff is the volume of special obligations to ensure an increase in the share of electricity production from alternative energy sources - 358.11 UAH/MWh.

The decision of the National Commission is subject to further discussion for final adoption.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, National Energy Commission has increased the tariff for electricity transmission for the Ukrenergo national power company by 30% to UAH 686.23/MWh for 2025.
