Zelenskyy visits brigade defending Pokrovsk and its surroundings
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the soldiers of the 25th separate airborne Sicheslav brigade, who are holding defense near Pokrovsk and its outskirts. This is stated in a message on the official Facebook account of the head of state on Tuesday, November 4.
Zelenskyy said that he met with the soldiers in their area of responsibility and awarded them with state awards.
"We discussed many important issues with the military: the situation on the front line, providing positions with everything they need, logistics, rotations, the brigade's experience, the development of drones, the implementation of the 18-24 contract program, the future transition to a contract army, manning the brigade, training and digitalization of processes in the army. We will work on all the issues," the President emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 4, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the military at the command post of the 1st Corps of the National Guard "Azov", which, together with adjacent units, is defending the Dobropillia sector.
