Chinese brand once again tops rating of Ukrainian new car market - UkrAutoprom
In October 2025, Ukrainians purchased a record number of new passenger cars over the past 13 months - 7,800 units.
This is said in a statement by the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
This is a third more than in October 2024 and 14% more than in September 2025.
The Chinese brand BYD gained market leadership, which is 6.5 times higher than last year's result The bestseller of the month was the VOLKSWAGEN ID.Unyx electric car.
In January-October 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, sales of new passenger cars increased by 3% to 60,700 units.
The TOP-10 in October included: BYD - 1 199 units (+552%); TOYOTA - 978 units (+44%); VOLKSWAGEN - 856 units (136%); SKODA - 626 units (+55%); RENAULT - 494 units. (-37%); HYUNDAI - 357 units (+85%); BMW - 302 units (-24%); AUDI - 262 units (+38%); ZEEKR - 259 units (+131%) and NISSAN - 196 units (+1%).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January-September 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, the demand for cars imported from China increased by 27% to 14,684 units.
