A large-scale power outage was recorded in the Moscow Oblast of russia.

According to russian media, the blackout occurred as a result of a drone attack on energy facilities in the region.

Residents of the city of Zhukovsky and surrounding settlements report the disappearance of light at night.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrii Kovalenko, has already published a reaction to the event, who briefly noted: "Moscow Oblast is losing light."

At the same time, the Zhukovsky administration stated that the power outage was due to an "emergency situation in the power system," without specifying details.

The russian authorities traditionally do not confirm the consequences of drone attacks on russian territory. The Ministry of Defense of the terrorist country stated that last night the air defense forces shot down about a hundred drones over 10 regions of the russian federation.
