We'll strike if things go bad. Lukashenko announces russian Oreshnik will be put on combat duty in December
The self-proclaimed leader of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, confirmed his intention to put the russian ballistic missile complex Oreshnik on combat duty as early as December 2025. He stated this during a working trip to the Vitebsk Oblast on October 31.
This was reported by the state agency BELTA.
Lukashenko described the Oreshnik as a "terrible weapon" and directly hinted at its use in the event of an aggravation of the situation.
"For what? I want them [opponents abroad] to understand that we can strike if things go bad. Here we will sit down with [russian president vladimir] putin, make a decision and make a strike. So don't rush in," he said.
Recall that earlier, Belarusian dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko showed off a model of the Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile launcher, which gave an idea of what the secret russian weapon looks like.
