Armed Forces of Ukraine reveal possible occupants' plan to capture Pokrovsk
The Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shown a possible plan of the russian occupants to capture the cities of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in the Donetsk Region, in the areas of which fierce fighting is currently taking place.
It was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Corps said that to implement the plan to encircle Pokrovsk, the russian army involved about 11,000 people. In total, an enemy group of 27,000 people is operating in the area of responsibility of Ukrainian paratroopers.
The map published by the 7th Corps shows the likely plan of action of the occupiers. The military believe that the russians will try to break through to the areas north and northwest of Pokrovsk. Also, the russian army will try to advance through Myrnohrad from east to west and occupy the town of Rodynske, located north of the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration.
Later, the occupants are likely to try to connect between Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, as well as advance towards the village of Hryshyne.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, on October 29, the Ukrainian Defense Forces denied the information about the invasion of Myrnohrad. The spokesman for the Operational Command East misspoke during the telethon, he was referring to Pokrovsk.
The day before, the British edition of the Financial Times wrote that russian dictator vladimir putin ordered to capture Pokrovsk by mid-November.
