Russia attacks critical infrastructure of Odesa Region with attack drones at night, Podilsk cut off from electricity
Russia has attacked critical infrastructure in Podilsk, Odesa Region, and the city lost power and water supply in some areas. It was reported by Suspilne.
After the strikes, the city lost power supply, and in some areas, in particular in the Cheremushky neighborhood, there is no water, according to preliminary information, there are no victims, but several people were slightly injured.
Air alert in the region was announced at 2:02 a.m. The Air Forces noted that unmanned aerial vehicles were moving from the Black Sea to the Odesa Region. At 2:17 a.m., a UAV was spotted moving on the border of the Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions, heading north. Explosions were heard in Podilsk at 3:37 a.m., with at least five of them. The air alert was canceled at 3:37 a.m.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Izmail in the Odesa Region was also hit: energy and port infrastructure was damaged. Russian missiles and drones also attacked the Kirovohrad Region, leaving residents of 27 settlements without electricity.
On the night of October 22, russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using missiles and attack drones. The capital came under fire, with the consequences of hits and blast waves recorded in several districts of Kyiv.
The enemy also attacked the Kyiv Region. As a result of the attack, civilians were killed and injured. Among the dead are a young woman, a six-month-old baby and a 12-year-old girl. In the Brovary District, a man born in 1987 was fatally injured by shrapnel.
