Z-channels complain that russian military downed their Ka-52 helicopter again
Russian military bloggers reported the loss of a Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopter. Z-channels claim that the machine was lost as a result of friendly fire.
This is evidenced by Z-channels' messages in the Telegram messenger.
The first to report the loss of the Ka-52 helicopter was the FighterBomber Telegram channel, which is run by former russian armed forces pilot Ilya Tumanov. He published a photo of the helicopter with the caption "Eternal flight, brothers."
Later, similar posts were published by the Voevoda Veshchaet and Aviahub channels, which also write about russian military aviation and support full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
At the same time, all three channels did not provide any details about how the Ka-52 was lost. It is also unknown when exactly the incident occurred.
After some time, the Telegram channel "Callsign "Katzman"" wrote that the Ka-52 helicopter was lost as a result of friendly fire. It took part in repelling the attack of Ukrainian drones. The fighter involved in intercepting the UAV mistook the helicopter for a drone and fired a missile. The author of the channel writes that both crew members were killed as a result of the hit.
He later deleted this post, but it was saved in the TGStat service.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 17 it became known that the russians lost a Su-30 fighter in the sky over the occupied Crimea. It was shot down by friendly air defense fire while repelling the attack of Ukrainian UAVs.
Recall that in June of this year, a Ukrainian F-16 fighter shot down a russian Su-35 fighter. This is the first such case since Ukraine received American aircraft and the first in the history of the F-16.
