As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the US has imposed new sanctions against leading russian oil companies Rosneft and Lukoil. The restrictions are aimed at increasing economic pressure on the Kremlin due to its war against Ukraine.

Recall, later the White House explained that Trump decided to impose sanctions due to the lack of real steps towards ending the war on the part of russia.

Donald Trump responded to vladimir putin's statement about russia's "immunity" to US sanctions and said that he wants to see this in six months.
