New water crisis in Crimea: reserves in Alushta will last only three months
The situation with water supply is rapidly deteriorating on the occupied peninsula - due to drought, the level in reservoirs has dropped sharply. This is reported by the National Resistance Center.
In Alushta, water reserves are left for about three months. The russian occupation administration recognizes the problem, but has no real plans to solve it. In a number of settlements, there are already water supply restrictions, and in some areas people are forced to take water from natural sources that are not suitable for drinking.
Tension is growing in Simferopol - according to sources, "staff rotation is being discussed." The head of the occupation authorities, Sergei Aksyonov, is trying to shift the blame to the russian Defense Ministry, accusing the military of excessive use of water for training grounds. Meanwhile, moscow is preparing inspections and personnel changes in local government.
The occupation authorities consider the only temporary solution to be water supply schedules and the delivery of technical moisture by tankers. However, according to experts, these measures will only postpone the crisis if stable water supply sources are not created for Crimea.
We remind that not only gasoline has disappeared from most gas stations in Crimea, but also diesel fuel.
