Ukrainians increase real estate tax payments by 22% to UAH 9.5 billion in 9M
During January-September 2025, real estate owners paid UAH 9.5 billion in real estate tax other than land plots.
This is stated in a message from the Tax Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Compared to the corresponding period last year, 22% more was transferred to local budgets, or +UAH 1.7 billion.
The budgets received the largest amounts:
Kyiv – UAH 1.87 billion,
Lviv – UAH 0.94 billion,
Kyiv – UAH 0.93 billion,
Odesa Region – UAH 0.91 billion.
In total, 853,400 payers paid real estate tax during January-September.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2025, the tax is paid by citizens for the reporting year 2024.
Real estate tax is paid by individuals who own:
- apartments with an area of over 60 sq. m;
- houses with an area of over 120 sq. m;
- other various types of housing, including their shares, with an area of over 180 sq. meters.
