For the sixth time since the beginning of October, the troops of the aggressor country of russia have massively attacked Ukraine's gas infrastructure, with a number of facilities in several regions halting operations. This was announced in a Naftogaz statement.
Civil facilities that provide Ukrainians with gas and heat have come under attack from russian drones and missiles, and four gas workers were injured as a result of the massive attack. Hits and destruction are being recorded in several regions.
"The operation of a number of critically important facilities has been halted. Our specialists are immediately beginning to eliminate the consequences," Serhii Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, said.
He added that due to the russian attacks, the company is forced to compensate for the loss of its own gas production by importing it.
Ukrainians have been urged to consume gas economically, since "every cubic meter saved today matters."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, emergency power outages are in effect in 8 regions due to the difficult situation in the power system.
