Russian troops advance along entire front line, but have no significant success - ISW
The russian army continues offensive actions on several frontlines - from the Sumy to Kherson Regions, but there is no confirmed advance of the enemy almost anywhere.
This is the subject of the report of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) for October 11.
According to ISW's analysis, russian troops continued attacks in the north of the Sumy Region, but without results. The same situation is observed in the Kharkiv sector, near Velykyi Burluk, as well as in the Kupiansk, Borovsk, Lyman and Siversk sectors of the frontline.
The enemy also failed to advance in the Kostiantynivka-Druzhkivka sector, however, a minor tactical advance was recorded in the area of Dobropillia.
According to the First Azov Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops repelled an intensified mechanized assault near Shakhove, which the enemy launched from the direction of Ocheretyne. During the battle, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed three tanks, 16 armored vehicles and 41 motorcycles. Some russian troops managed to reach Volodymyrivka, but were not seen there the next morning.
In the Pokrovsk sector, russian forces continue active assaults, making little progress. In the Zaporizhzhia Region, the enemy attacked the eastern districts, but without confirmed success.
Russian military bloggers claimed that russian troops were allegedly advancing near Novohryhorivka, Okhotnyche and Poltavka, but there is no evidence of this.
In the Kherson sector, russian offensive actions also did not lead to changes on the frontline. According to the ISW, the operators of the BARS-33 drone unit continue to operate there.
Reminder, since the beginning of the counteroffensive operation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of Dobropillia, Donetsk Region they managed to liberate 181 square kilometers of territory.
