AFU General Staff: 108 combat clashes take place on russian-Ukrainian front since beginning of day

Since the beginning of the day, 108 combat clashes took place on the frontline. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the line and destroying the plans of the russians.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its evening operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Russian artillery shelling affected the areas of settlements, in particular Utskove, Brusky, Buniakyne in the Sumy Region; Khrinivka, Yasna Poliana, Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Huta Studenetska in the Chernihiv Region.

Four combat clashes took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes. Today, the enemy carried out one air strike, dropped two guided aerial bombs and carried out 96 attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.

On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, 11 combat clashes took place in the areas of Zapadne, Kutkivka and in the direction of Bolohivka, Dvorichanske and Kolodiazne. One enemy attack is still ongoing.

One combat clash is ongoing on the Kupiansk axis. In total, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has tried to advance five times to the position of our defenders in the areas of Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka and Stepova Novoselivka.

Eight combat clashes took place on the Lyman axis today. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky, Karpivka, Drobysheve, Torske and in the direction of the settlement of Lyman.

On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy carried out four attacks today in the areas of Yampil, Serebrianka and Dronivka.

The defense forces stopped 11 enemy attacks in the Kostyantynivka direction. The invader tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and Poltavka.

On the Pokrovsk axis, russian troops tried 29 times to advance on the positions of our troops in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Sukhetske, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia and in the direction of the settlement of Pokrovsk. Our defenders have already repelled 24 attacks, and fighting is ongoing.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 13 enemy attacks near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Novohryhorivka and in the direction of Orestopil. Five more enemy attacks are ongoing.

On the Kramatorsk, Huliaipole and Dnieper axes, the enemy has not conducted offensive actions since the beginning of the day.

On the Orikhiv axis, the Defense Forces successfully repelled four enemy assaults near the settlement of Stepove and in the direction of Prymorske.

On the remaining axes, there were no significant changes in the situation.

Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire front line and in the rear.
