US President Donald Trump has expressed gratitude to russian dictator vladimir putin, who criticized the Nobel Peace Prize and mentioned the American president's efforts to resolve "crises."

Trump wrote about this on the social network Truth Social

Putin said that there were allegedly cases when the committee awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to people who had done nothing for peace and, according to the dictator, had caused enormous damage to the prize

"Whether the current US president deserves the Nobel Prize or not, I don’t know. But he’s really doing a lot to resolve complex crises that last for years, even decades," putin said.

Russian occupants attacked critical civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in Kyiv with drones and missiles. As a result of the russian strikes on critical infrastructure, the left bank of the capital was left without power supply, and there are also problems with water supply. It is known about 12 victims.

Later, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko called on residents of the capital to stock up on water, food, prepare warm clothes and not ignore alarms.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Nobel Committee awarded the 2025 Peace Prize to Maria Corina Machado, the leader of the democratic movement in Venezuela. She was recognized for her "tireless struggle for the rights of citizens and the peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy."
