DTEK TPPs damaged as result of night attack by occupiers
The thermal power plants of the Ukrainian company DTEK were damaged during today's massive air attack by the aggressor country, the russian federation.
This is according to a statement from the DTEK press service.
The company stated that the thermal power plant equipment was seriously damaged as a result of the occupiers' strikes. Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
The company did not specify which thermal power plants were attacked by the occupiers.
DTEK added that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the occupiers' army has attacked the company's power plants more than 200 times.
Massive russian attack on Ukraine's energy sector
On the night of October 9-10, the russian army carried out a massive air attack on Ukraine. The main target was energy infrastructure facilities in several regions of the country.
The occupiers launched almost 500 drones and missiles of various types. The Ukrainian defense forces managed to shoot down 420 targets of the air attack. 60 drones and 13 missiles were hit at 19 locations.
Ukrenergo named the regions where emergency power outage schedules were introduced due to the attack by the invaders.
