Imports of goods to Ukraine almost double exports over 9 months

In January-September 2025, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 60.1 billion and exported them for USD 29.5 billion.

The State Customs Service has reported this, the Ukrainian News agency informs.

At the same time, taxed imports amounted to USD 45.9 billion, which is 76% of the total volume of imported goods.

So, among the leaders of countries that imported goods to Ukraine: China - USD 13.3 billion, Poland - USD 5.7 billion, and Germany - USD 4.8 billion.

In the total volume of goods imported in January-September 2025, 69% were the following categories of goods:

The largest exports from Ukraine were to Poland - USD 3.7 billion, Turkey - USD 2.1 billion, and Germany - USD 1.8 billion

The report says that for 9 months of 2025, UAH 641.9 million was paid to the budget during customs clearance of exports of goods subject to export duties.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2024, Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to USD 112 billion.

In 2024, Ukraine imported goods worth USD 70.7 billion and exported them for USD 41.6 billion.
