CHPP attacked in Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast, russia, city has problems with electricity and heating
A combined heat and power plant was attacked in the russian city of Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast, on the night of October 6, and the city is currently experiencing problems with power supply and heating. This is reported by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.
According to preliminary data, the power substation of the Luch gas turbine combined heat and power plant was attacked. The attack partially disrupted the operation of the energy infrastructure.
"Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast, reports a missile attack on a combined heat and power plant," the message says.
The channel also posted videos showing the fire that broke out at the CHPP after the missile attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, The Economist notes that Ukraine has begun using Flamingo cruise missiles to strike energy facilities and oil refineries in russia.
It was also reported that earlier the Defense Forces had struck key russian facilities - a refinery, a missile ship and a command post.
On the night of October 4-5, the russian army launched a large-scale air attack on Ukraine, using more than 50 missiles of various types and about 500 drones.
The main targets of the occupiers were energy infrastructure facilities that provide gas supply to Ukrainians in the winter period.
