Foreign Ministry responds to Hungary's statements to give up territories for sake of peace

Ukraine does not need advice on giving up occupied territories, as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Levente Magyar stated. This is how the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhii Tykhyi, commented on Magyar's words on Sunday, September 28.

The Hungarian official noted that Ukraine should think about giving up territories for the sake of peace, as his country did at one time.

"Hungary can trade its land or sovereignty if it wants. Ukraine does not do this, and advice is not welcome," Tykhyi replied.
