186 combat clashes recorded at front on Friday: Pokrovsk axis hottest – AFU General Staff
Overall, on Friday, 186 combat clashes were recorded on the russian-Ukrainian front.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile and 67 air strikes, used one missile and dropped 142 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,953 attacks, including 135 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,924 kamikaze drones for destruction.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the area of the settlement of Seredyna-Buda, Sumy Region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one artillery system and one enemy control point.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes over the past day, 10 clashes took place. The enemy carried out 10 air strikes, dropping 24 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 208 attacks, including 12 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian defenders four times near Vovchansk, Kamianka and in the direction of Doroshivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, four clashes took place yesterday. Our defenders stopped the enemy's assault actions near Stepova Novoselivka and in the direction of the settlement of Bohuslavka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 20 times, trying to wedge into our defenses near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Shandryholove, Zarichne, Torske, as well as towards the settlement of Stavky.
On the Siversk axis, the Defense Forces stopped nine offensive actions of the invaders in the areas of Hryhorivka, Vyimka, Pereizne and in the direction of Yampil and Dronivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, six clashes were recorded yesterday - the invaders tried to advance towards Stupochky.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 21 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and Poltavka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 62 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Novoekonomichne, Nykanorivka, Volodymyrivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Horikhove, Dachne and in the direction of the settlements of Pokrovsk, Balahan, Filiia.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy yesterday carried out 27 attacks near the settlements of Piddubne, Novoselivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Komyshuvakha, Kalynovske and in the direction of the settlements of Novohryhorivka and Novovasylivske.
On the Huliaipole axis, our defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance near the settlement of Poltavka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two enemy attacks in the direction of the settlement of Stepnohirsk.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders four times in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge - without success.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the aggressor were detected.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential on the rear.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 970 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized a tank, an armored combat vehicle, 39 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, an air defense system, 362 unmanned aerial vehicles, 91 units of motor vehicles, two units of special equipment and two heavy flamethrower systems of the invaders.
