Zaichenko dismissed from post of Ukrenergo chairman

The Supervisory Board of the Ukrenergo National Energy Company has dismissed Vitalii Zaichenko from the post of the chairman of the company's board.

Interfax Ukraine announced this with reference to sources, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the publication's sources, member of the company's board Oleksii Brekht has been appointed acting chairman of the board of Ukrenergo.

In addition to Zaichenko and Brekht, the board of Ukrenergo, whose formation was completed recently, includes Oleh Pavlenko, Oleh Skrypnyk and Ivan Yuryk.

The publication writes that according to the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's energy committee Oleksii Kucherenko, all members of the board have received the status of acting members.

It is currently unknown whether Zaichenko will remain on the board.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 23, the Supervisory Board of the Ukrenergo national energy company appointed Vitalii Zaichenko as the company's chairman of the board.
