Drones attack Afipsky refinery in Krasnodar Krai of russia. It is burning
On the night of September 26, russian sources reported an attack by drones on the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai. As a result of the hit, fragments of the drone hit one of the installations, where a fire broke out.
According to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai, the area of the fire reached about 30 square meters. According to official reports, there were no casualties.
The Afipsky refinery is one of the key ones in the region: the enterprise specializes in the production of gasoline and diesel fuel, in particular to meet the needs of the russian army. Its annual capacity is about 6.25 million tons of oil.
This is not the first attack on the facility. In late August, the Ukrainian Defense Forces already struck this oil refinery, which is used to support the military infrastructure of the russian federation.
Recall that Ukrainian strikes on russian oil refining facilities caused a fuel crisis in the country. Private gas stations are suffering the most, accounting for 40% of the volume.
On September 24, it became known that every second gas station in the occupied Crimea had suspended operations. In a number of other regions, 12% to 14% of operating gas stations were suspended.
