Russian invaders hit residential sector of Sumy with guided aerial bomb, destruction of houses reported - Sumy Administration

On the night of September 26, at about 4:20 am, russian invaders attacked the area of ​​the Stetskiy starostyn district in the Sumy Region. This was reported by the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhii Kryvosheyenko, on the Telegram channel.

It is reported that the scale of the attack is currently being clarified.

"At about 4:20 am, the enemy previously hit a residential sector in the Stetskiy starostyn district with guided aerial bomb. As a result of the attack, residential buildings were damaged. There may be interruptions in electricity and gas supplies," the message says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the Sumy Region, in Velyka Pysarivka, russians are distributing leaflets with calls for "evacuation", under the guise of "concern for peaceful residents".

On the night of Thursday, September 11, russian occupiers attacked an educational institution in Sumy. Rescuers extinguished the fire that broke out as a result of the enemy strike.

A russian drone also hit an architectural monument of national importance - the Holy Resurrection Cathedral of the OCU.

A new differentiated air-raid warning system has been in operation in the Sumy Region since August 6. From now on, the danger signal will not sound throughout the region, but only in those areas that are under direct threat.
