Every second gas station in Crimea stops operating due to fuel crisis in russia

Every second gas station in the occupied Crimea has suspended the sale of gasoline due to the worsening fuel crisis in the aggressor country of russia.

The russian publication Kommersant reported this with reference to its own sources.

According to the analytical company OMT-Consult, to which the publication refers, from July 28 to September 22, 360 gas stations in russia suspended their operations. This is 1.6% of all gas stations operating in the country.

The regions in the Southern Federal District faced the most problems, where the number of gas stations selling gasoline decreased by 14.2%. This is followed by the Far Eastern, Volga and Central Federal Districts.

The worst situation is developing in the occupied Crimea, where 50% of gas stations have stopped selling fuel. That is, every second gas station has stopped working.

The publication writes that independent gas stations have run out of gasoline. At gas stations owned by vertically integrated oil companies, the situation is much better, since they receive gasoline from the company's reserves or directly from oil refining facilities.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday, September 24, russian media wrote that the gasoline shortage has reached the Belgorod Oblast. Residents of the region complain about fuel supply disruptions and rising prices.

As we will recall, on September 23, Reuters reported that Ukraine's systematic strikes on russian oil refining facilities have caused a fuel crisis in the country.
