"Embarrassing." Trump shames NATO and EU for buying russian energy resources

The President of the United States of America Donald Trump shamed the countries of the European Union for buying natural gas and oil from the aggressor country of russia.

He said this during a speech at the UN General Assembly in New York, his words are quoted by RBC-Ukraine.

"They're buying oil and gas from Russia while they're fighting Russia. It's embarrassing to them, and it was very embarrassing to them when I found out about it," Trump said.

He added that NATO countries are financing a war against themselves, because they continue to buy russian oil.

Trump also said that China and India are the main sponsors of russia's war against Ukraine, as they buy large volumes of russian oil.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 18, the American leader said that russia would leave Ukraine as soon as the price of oil fell.

Recall, on September 13, Trump demanded that NATO countries stop buying russian oil. Only after that, the US will supposedly impose stronger sanctions against russia.
