Naftogaz attracts additional money from Ukreximbank for gas procurement

The Naftogaz Group has attracted UAH 2.445 billion in additional financing within the framework of a strategic partnership with the state-owned JSC Ukreximbank.

This is indicated in the group's statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The funds will be used to finance the production needs of JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya.

"This is another practical assistance in preparing for the autumn-winter period. I thank the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Ukreximbank for their support and trust," said Serhii Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Naftogaz previously attracted loans from the state-owned PrivatBank and Ukrgasbank.

Naftogaz Group, in partnership with Polish ORLEN, has already supplied Ukraine with about 400 million cubic meters of American liquefied gas in preparation for the winter of 2025-2026.

The Naftogaz of Ukraine National Joint-Stock Company and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in mid-August signed a record-breaking for Ukraine agreement for EUR 500 million for the procurement of gas.
