Mushroom pickers find debris of 3 more suspected russian drones in Poland
Objects resembling debris of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been found in Poland. They were found in three separate locations in one of the eastern regions of the country.
The PAP agency reported this with reference to Polish law enforcement agencies.
The debris of objects resembling parts of UAVs was found in the areas of the cities of Białobrzegi, Siedlce and Zamość. All of them are located in the Masovian Voivodeship.
The probable debris of drones was found by local mushroom pickers. They notified the police, who, in turn, passed on information about the find to the military.
Later, information appeared that an element of the object resembling a UAV was discovered in the Kraków District of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
The object was found in a forest near the village of Goszcz at around noon. Police were sent to the scene to provide security for the object.
After some time, the regional police department announced that the found object was part of a radio-controlled model of an airplane. It has no military purpose.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, earlier today, on September 21, it became known that a foam UAV was found in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of Poland. It is similar to the decoy drones that the russian army uses during attacks on Ukraine.
We will remind, on the night of September 19-20, British Eurofighter Typhoon fighters carried out the first combat mission within the framework of the NATO mission "Eastern Sentinel", which was announced after the incident with russian UAVs.
