An object resembling a drone was discovered by the owner of a land plot in the commune of Korsze in a field approximately 50 meters from the building. The prosecutor's office states that the drone is made of foam plastic and has been lying in the field for several days, and it is also specified that the collected materials will be transferred to the prosecutor's office in Lublin, which is conducting the investigation.
It is reported that the police immediately went to the scene, fenced off the area and took the object under guard. Other services, in particular the Military Gendarmerie and the military prosecutor from the District Prosecutor's Office in Olsztyn, were also informed about the find. Procedural actions are ongoing under his supervision.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of September 9-10, russian drones flew into the territory of Poland. The Polish military recorded 21 cases of violation of the country's airspace.
To destroy the drones, Poland and its NATO allies raised combat aircraft into the sky. They managed to shoot down several russian drones.
