Situation at front getting worse, invaders drawing up all their forces near Pokrovsk - ISW
The russian army is transferring maximum forces to the Pokrovsk Axis, including units from the Kursk Oblast and operational reserves. This is reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to analysts, russian troops are attacking in various areas of the front. In particular, they operated in the Sumy and Kursk Regions, in the north of the Kharkiv Region and near Kupyansk. Geolocation materials indicate the advance of the russians in Kupyansk itself - to Sadova Street, as well as control of a section of the H-26 highway by fire. At the same time, there is no confirmed success in the Borovske and Lyman Axes.
The situation is most tense near Pokrovsk. Ukrainian military reports that the enemy is throwing all its forces into this area, suffering significant losses - from 10 to 20 soldiers for every meter of captured territory. Due to the threat from Ukrainian drones, the russians are avoiding the use of armored vehicles.
In the east of the Zaporizhzhia Region, the enemy recently advanced near Novoivanivka, and to the northeast of Huliaipole, it actively used drones. According to the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces Vladyslav Voloshyn, in the areas of Huliaipole, Kherson and Orikhiv, the russian army uses up to 800 drones per day.
In the Kherson Region, the occupiers tried to attack, but to no avail. The assaults in the Novopavlivsk and Velykomykhailivske areas also ended without success.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already thwarted three large-scale offensive operations of the russian army, but the Kremlin has not abandoned its plans and is preparing two more.
