Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which flew into Polish airspace on the night of September 10, were equipped with additional fuel tanks. This allowed them to increase the flight range.

This is reported by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Polkovnyk HSh".

The analyst studied photos of russian UAVs that were discovered today in Poland. In the nose of the UAV, you can see an object that looks like a transparent plastic bag. This is an additional fuel tank made of polymer material.

According to "Polkovnyk HSh", such tanks were not found in drones of this type, which were previously found in Ukraine after the attacks of the invaders.

"So it was a special version in order to fly as far as possible - for example, to the territory of Poland," the author of the post writes.

He also exposed the russian Ministry of Defense as lying. Earlier today, it confirmed that russian UAVs had flown into Polish airspace. At the same time, the russians immediately stated that their drones allegedly could not have reached the territory of the country, as they have a maximum range of 700 kilometers.

Russian UAV attack on Poland

On the night of September 9-10, the russian army carried out a massive air attack on Ukraine, launching drones and missiles of various types. Some of the russian UAVs flew into Polish airspace.

According to the Polish authorities, the Polish military recorded 19 cases of violations of the country's airspace. In response, Poland and its NATO allies took to the skies with combat aircraft. Fighter jets shot down several drones.

In the morning, the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration (MSWiA) reported that after the night incident, fragments of eight UAVs and one missile of unknown origin were found in several regions of the country.
