In Poland, russian drone debris broke through roof of Polish private house - photos published

On the night of September 10, during a massive russian attack on Polish territory, at least eight drones flew in. Debris from one of them fell on a residential building in the village of Wyryki, Lublin Voivodeship.

The information was confirmed by Deputy Inspector Andrzej Fiolek from the Voivodeship Police Department in Lublin. As a result of the debris, the roof of the building and a car parked nearby were damaged. There were no victims or injured.

The mayor of the Włodawa County clarified that it is not yet known whether the drone itself or its fragments fell on the house: "We do not yet know the exact details; we will find out whether it was the device itself or the debris that damaged the roof and ceiling."

On the night of September 10, during the russian attack on Ukraine, several drones flew into Poland. For the first time, they were shot down by Polish aviation. Airports were temporarily closed, the authorities called the event an "act of aggression". Radars recorded dozens of targets, some of the drones were destroyed, and the search for the crash sites is currently underway.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the activities of at least eight drones of the aggressor state of russia in the airspace of Poland, as well as NATO, an escalating step. He stressed that this is an extremely dangerous precedent for Europe.
