Trump accuses Democrats of bloody inaction after murder of Ukrainian refugee

US President Donald Trump commented on the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, accusing representatives of the Democratic Party of insufficient punishment of criminals.

He wrote about this on his page on Truth Social.

According to Trump, he saw the video of the attack on the Ukrainian woman and described the attacker as a "mentally ill lunatic." At the same time, the president noted that the criminal is a known recidivist who had previously been arrested and released on bail 14 times.

"What the hell was he doing riding the train, and walking the streets? People like this need to be locked up. The blood of this innocent woman is literally dripping from the killer's knife, and now it's on the hands of the Democrats who refuse to put bad people in jail," Trump wrote, adding that only Republicans can ensure law and order in the states.

In addition, the president expressed indignation that the leading US media outlets did not report on this incident.
