Radiation hazard was declared in Kropyvnytskyi at night. It turned out to be mistake later

On the evening of Sunday, September 7, a radiation hazard was declared in Kropyvnytskyi and settlements in the Kropyvnytskyi District. Later, the authorities stated that this was a mistake.

This is evidenced by the data of the "Air Alert" service and the statement of the local authorities.

On the website of the "Air Alert" service, you can see that the radiation hazard was declared in the Kropyvnytskyi District at 10:49 p.m. The alarm was canceled one minute later, at 10:50 p.m.

A little later, the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Andrii Raikovych reported that the notification of the radiation hazard was published due to a technical failure of the "Air Alert Map" service.

"There is no threat of radiation danger," wrote Raikovych on his Telegram channel.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, a differentiated air raid warning system has been in operation in the Sumy Region since August 6 of this year.

In July, the air raid warning system began operating in a similar way in the Kyiv Region.

As we recall, earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called on Ukrainians to turn off the automatic time update function on mobile phones during air raid warnings.
