Kremenchuk restores power supply and traffic on bridge damaged by russian strike
In Kremenchuk, Poltava Region, the city has restored power supply and traffic on the bridge across the Dnieper after a massive russian attack on the night of September 7. Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba and provisional Head of Poltava Regional State Administration Volodymyr Kohut reported this on Telegram.
"As of this hour, the power supply, which was out due to the enemy attack in the Kremenchuk district, has been fully restored. I thank the power engineers for their work," Kohut said.
Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba also noted that traffic on the bridge across the Dnieper in Kremenchuk has already been restored.
"Tonight, as a result of an enemy attack, a bridge across the Dnieper River in the Poltava Region was damaged. Because of this, train traffic was temporarily stopped, and at the same time, car traffic was also stopped. Thanks to the prompt work of railway workers, local and regional authorities, car traffic has already been restored. They quickly organized restoration work, deployed all the necessary equipment and resources, and in a very short time ensured the safe passage of vehicles," the message says.
It is noted that in order to support rail connections for residents and guests of the city, buses ran between the Kremenchuk railway station and the Kriukiv-na-Dnipri station during the day.
