In August, Defense Ministry allows 80 new models of weapons and military equipment to be put into operation in AFU

In August 2025, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine allowed 80 new models of weapons and military equipment to be put into operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 78% of them are domestically produced.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the list of domestic models of weapons and military equipment put into operation last month includes mostly unmanned aviation systems, ammunition, automotive equipment, ground robotic complexes. Also among the new products are models of electronic warfare and reconnaissance equipment, logistics equipment, engineering equipment, equipment for the Air Force, communications equipment, and small arms.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July, the Ministry of Defense allowed 9 new electronic warfare/reconnaissance systems to be put into operation in the Defense Forces. 90% of the new products are products of the Ukrainian defense industry.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy showed an enterprise in the Kyiv Region, where they create the "brain" for Ukrainian missiles and drones.

Also, a new Ukrainian drone for laser targeting has appeared in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
