RF strikes DTEK enrichment plant in Donetsk Region, its work completely paralyzed

"This is not the first large-scale attack on this enterprise, which provided coal for thermal generation in Ukraine," the message says.

As a result of the enemy attack, the building was destroyed, the equipment was seriously damaged. The workers who worked on the shift survived. Rescuers extinguished the fire.

"The work of the factory is currently completely paralyzed. Its enrichment facilities are unfit for operation," DTEK reported.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, yesterday the army of the aggressor state of russia attacked the DTEK mine, damaging the company's structures and equipment. An employee was killed and there are wounded. At the time of the attack, 146 miners were underground.

Meanwhile, on the night of August 27, russia attacked Ukraine's energy and gas transportation infrastructure with strike drones in 6 regions of Ukraine, causing damage.
