Svyrydenko gives details about russian missile strike on American FLEX plant in Mukachevo

As a result of the missile strike by the aggressor country russia on the consumer electronics plant of the American company FLEX in Mukachevo, 19 people were injured, there were no deaths due to the fact that 600 workers who were on shift at the time went down to shelter in time. Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Svyrydenko said that a year ago she visited the plant of the American company FLEX in Mukachevo, then she was impressed by the scale of investments, technological capabilities and strength of this enterprise, during business trips abroad she everywhere encountered consumer electronics made by the company in Ukraine.

"Today, Russia attacked Mukachevo and this plant. As a result of the missile strike, 19 people were injured. The enemy decided to "liberate" Ukraine from coffee machines. Thanks to the detailed measures for responding to air alarms, all 600 workers who were on shift at the time went down to shelter in time. This saved lives, no one died. I am grateful to the company's management for caring about people's safety," she said.

Svyrydenko noted that representatives of local and central authorities are in touch with the plant's management on priority measures, and she wished the Ukrainian FLEX team strength and endurance.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously informed that russia had struck an American electronics manufacturer in Transcarpathia with missiles.
