3 killed in Kostiantynivka after occupiers shelled market and houses
Russian terrorist troops shelled Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk Region with Smerch MLRS, killing three people and wounding four others. This is indicated in a statement by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday, August 20.
To destroy the settlement, the russian occupiers used Smerch MLRS and hit the residential sector and the local market.
"As a result of the attack, two women aged 40 and 69 and a 32-year-old man died from injuries incompatible with life. Four more civilians received mine-explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds. They were provided with qualified medical assistance," the statement said.
In the city, shelling also damaged private and apartment buildings, cars, shops and a power line.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 19, 175 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most of the time on the Pokrovsk (50 clashes) and Lyman (33) axes.
