Another 46 gas stations of Kolomoiskyi leased to Petrenko's UPG
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed the company Ukrpaletsystem, which is part of the UPG group of businessman Volodymyr Petrenko, to lease another 46 gas stations from the company of the Privat group.
This is stated in the message of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The report states that at a meeting on August 14, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine granted permission to PP Ukrpaletsystem to acquire control over the assets of 10 companies of the Privat group, including:
Albiland, Angel Capital, Jasmi-Trade, Image Evolution, Corso Town, Leader Finance, Naftaprime, Newport Holding, Perspektyva Pro, Start Business-Plus and Vertix-Mall.
Yurii Kiperman is the ultimate beneficiary of these companies, in addition to Vertix-Mall.
A total of 46 gas stations are being acquired.
From now on, Ukrpaletsystem has permission to lease 127 gas stations from the Privat group.
The Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko, said in an interview with the NaftoRynok publication that thanks to the Privat gas stations, UPG can become the third key player in the fuel market along with WOG and OKKO.
UPG wants to first lease gas stations and then purchase them as property.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 31, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed Ukrpaletsystem, a company part of the UPG group of businessman Volodymyr Petrenko, to lease another 47 gas stations from the Privat group.
According to the publication Economic Pravda, at least 400 gas stations of the Privat group may subsequently come under UPG's control.
