Ukrainian farmers have harvested almost 25 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
This is stated in a message from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message states that as of August 15, 2025, 24,805,900 tons of early grain and leguminous crops have already been harvested in Ukraine on an area of 6,186,600 hectares.
55% of the areas sown with these crops have been threshed.
In particular: wheat - 18,985,700 tons were harvested on an area of 4,396,200 hectares; barley - 4,732,000 tons were harvested on an area of 1,247,200 hectares; peas - 573,500 tons were harvested on an area of 230,300 hectares.
Other grains and legumes were harvested in the amount of 513,100 tons on an area of 310,800 hectares.
Among the leaders, in particular: Odesa Region - 3,425,300 tons were harvested from an area of 1,070,400 hectares; Kirovohrad Region - 2,204,000 tons were harvested from an area of 533,400 hectares; Vinnytsia Region - 2,082,900 tons were harvested from an area of 337,600 hectares.
Rapeseed has already been harvested in the amount of 3,014,500 tons on an area of 1,184,800 hectares.
Buckwheat harvest has begun in the Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian farmers have already harvested almost 20 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
As of August 8, 2025, 19,909,800 tons of early grain and leguminous crops have already been harvested in Ukraine on an area of 5,299,500 hectares.
For 2025, farmers planned to sow more than 5.7 million hectares of spring grain and leguminous crops, which corresponds to the level of 2024.
The main feature of the new season was the increase in the area under spring wheat to 227,500 hectares.
