Russian drone attacks gas station near Sumy - fire breaks out
On the morning of August 15, a russian drone hit a gas station near Sumy, causing a fire there - the driver of a civilian car was injured.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov.
The attack occurred at about 5:40 am - the drone hit a civilian car. A fire broke out instantly.
As a result of the strike, the premises and a passenger car were damaged. The driver suffered burns and is receiving medical care.
The gas station employees managed to avoid injuries - they retreated to a safe place.
As a reminder, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated six settlements in the north of the Sumy Region. In total, since the beginning of the offensive in May, the russian army has captured 18 settlements or important points in the region.
Meanwhile, the russian occupiers have significantly reduced the activity of sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Sumy Axis, although they previously operated actively in the border area, including in the Chernihiv and Kharkiv Regions.
