On August 11, 168 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest areas were Pokrovsk (48 clashes), Novopavlivka (24) and Lyman (20).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, in particular, dropped 138 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,299 attacks, 105 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 4,980 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On August 11, 168 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, 13 clashes took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes.
The enemy carried out 11 air strikes here, dropped a total of 23 guided aerial bombs and carried out 298 artillery attacks, including 26 from MLRS.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, six clashes took place in the areas of Vovchansk, Kolodiazne and Dvorichanske.
On the Kupiansk axis, nine attacks by the invaders took place.
The defense forces repelled the assault actions of the russians near the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Kindrashivka, Kupiansk, Zahryzove, Bohuslavka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 20 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Ridkodub, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Serebrianka and in the direction of Druzheliubivka, Serednie, Shandryholove, Yampil.
On the Siversk axis, the invaders carried out eight attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Hryhorivka, Vyimka and in the direction of Siversk.
On the Kramatorsk axis, five combat clashes were recorded in the areas of Stupochky, Stepanivka and Rusyn Yar.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Bila Hora and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 48 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Popiv Yar, Maiak, Dorozhnie, Nykanorivka, Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, Volodymyrivka, Novoekonomichne, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Promin, Udachne, Lysivka, Zvirove, Horikhove, Dachne.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 24 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Vilne Pole, Maliivka, Zelenyi Hai, Voskresenka, Myrne and in the direction of Ivanivka and Novoivanivka.
On the Huliaipole axis, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Malynivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy carried out two assaults on the Kamianske area and in the direction of Novodanylivka.
On the Dnieper axis, the russians tried to advance to the fortifications of the Ukrainian defenders seven times without success.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, one drone control point and two artillery pieces of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on August 11 amounted to 980 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 15, 137 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most of all on the Pokrovsk (42 clashes) and Novopavlivka (33) axes.
Meanwhile, the russians struck a training unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with cluster munitions.
