Khortytsia OSTG denies russian information about capture of Chasiv Yar
The Ukrainian military has denied the information of russian propagandists about the capture of Chasiv Yar. Major – spokesman of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group Viktor Trehubov reported this on the air of We-Ukraine.
Thus, the spokesman reported that the Ukrainian military continues to hold positions in the city.
"Russian statements that they have completely captured the city, I don't know what they were based on. For about a year, the Russians have been fighting for this city, trying to fight in its center. The Russians need to capture this city in order to further develop their offensive towards Kostiantynivka, the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk agglomerations. They couldn't pass, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding positions in the city. The Russians have no control over the city," he said.
Recall that DeepState emphasized that the russian occupation army does not have full control over the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk Region. The latest footage that the occupiers are showing online is part of their information campaign.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military had repelled a russian assault on the city of Chasiv Yar (Donetsk Region), in which even women participated.
In January of this year, servicemen of the 18th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine showed what Chasiv Yar looks like after nine months of urban battles and massive shelling.
