Two occupiers exchanged in June captured again by AFU
Two wounded fighters of the aggressor country of russia, exchanged in June, were captured again in July. This is stated in the message of the "I Want to Live" project for occupiers who want to surrender.
A native of the Republic of Tuva, Saktaagai Shagaa Mikhailovich, not knowing russian well, signed a contract with the russian army on December 10, 2024. He was immediately sent to the 83rd Motorized Rifle Regiment, and in January he was wounded during the "meat" storming of Vovchansk, where he surrendered.
"On June 20, 2025, in accordance with the Istanbul agreements, Saktaagai was returned to russia as a prisoner of war with injuries. Naturally, he did not receive any treatment or rehabilitation at home, and he did not get home," the report says.
After two weeks of interrogation, he was again sent to Vovchansk, where Shagaa surrendered to captivity for the second time. Another occupier, a 21-year-old native of the Komi Republic Dmitry, signed a contract with the 82nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of military unit 52033 on September 11, 2024 and immediately went to storm Vovchansk. A month later, with injuries to his legs and arms, he was captured for the first time, and on July 9, 2025, he was exchanged as a wounded man. On July 19, near Vovchansk, he was captured again.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 30, servicemen of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated a group of russian occupiers who attempted to cross the state border in the North-Slobozhansk Axis.
