Occupiers claim capture of Hoptivka checkpoint in Kharkiv Region, City Military Administration denies

Propaganda of the aggressor state russia has claimed the occupation of the Hoptivka checkpoint in the Kharkiv Region by the occupiers. The Derhachiv city military administration denied the information, noting that the enemy did indeed storm it, but the checkpoint is under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The head of the Derhachiv City Military Administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, has reported this.

"This morning, Russian propaganda began to spread fakes that the army of the occupiers allegedly captured the Hoptivka checkpoint. Since this news is beginning to gain public resonance, I consider it necessary to inform you that the occupiers did indeed storm this checkpoint," the message says.

At the same time, it is noted that the fighters of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade eliminated more than ten invaders, and dozens of others fled back to russia.

"The Hoptivka checkpoint is under the full control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine," Zadorenko emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in Kherson, meanwhile, russian occupiers have been striking the automobile bridge connecting the Korabel neighborhood with the rest of the regional center for the third day in a row. The enemy is trying to cut off Korabel from Kherson.
