172 combat clashes take place on russian-Ukrainian front on Friday – AFU General Staff's operational update
In total, 172 combat clashes were recorded on Friday.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 70 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using 116 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 5859 attacks, 62 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and involved 3766 kamikaze drones for destruction.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Pidlyman, Kharkiv Region; Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region; Bilohiria, Zaporizhzhia Region; Kherson, Kozatske, Kherson Region.
Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck seven areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and two artillery systems of the enemy.
Eight attacks by the russian invaders took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes. The enemy carried out 14 air strikes, dropping 24 guided bombs, and carried out 445 attacks, including seven from multiple rocket launcher systems.
Over the past day, the enemy attacked four times on the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis - in the areas of Krasne Pershe and Kamianka.
Ten attacks by the invaders were recorded on the Kupiansk axis. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Holubivka, Zahryzove, Lozova and Kindrashivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 20 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Karpivka, Yampolivka, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Torske and Dibrova.
On the Siversk axis, the enemy attacked the positions of our units six times in the areas of Hryhorivka, Verkhniokamianske and towards Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy assaults towards Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out six attacks near the settlements of Dyliivka, Krymske, Toretsk and Oleksandro-Kalynove.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 66 attacks of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Maiak, Razine, Novoekonomichne, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Promin, Zvirove, Udachne, Dachne and Zelenyi Kut.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 23 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Piddubne, Tovste, Maliivka, Voskresenka and Novopil.
On the Orikhiv axis near Kamianske, the invaders carried out one futile attack on the positions of our defenders.
On the Dnieper axis, enemy units tried to advance on the positions of our troops seven times.
On the Huliaipole axis, there were no combat clashes.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and are also actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in total, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,010 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized one armored combat vehicle, 38 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 139 UAVs, and 130 units of motor vehicles of the occupiers.
