Russia attacks Ukraine with drones at night, 28 UAVs hit 9 locations
On the night of August 1, the aggressor state of russia attacked Ukraine with 72 drones. Air defenses neutralized 44 drones, the rest hit nine locations.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
From 09:30 pm on July 31 and during the night of August 1, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 72 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the russian federation.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. According to data as of this morning, the air defense system shot down/suppressed 44 enemy UAVs in the north, south, east and center of the country.
"28 UAVs hit in 9 locations. Frontline territories of the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk Regions and the Kyiv Region were attacked," the Air Force informed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of August 1, russian occupiers attacked the Bila Tserkva district of the Kyiv Region, as a result of which large-scale fires broke out in Bila Tserkva on the territory of civilian enterprises.
