Russians attack railway infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk Region: station damaged, number of trains delayed

On the night of July 30, russian occupiers attacked railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, damaging the station in Pavlohrad, tracks and contact network. There were no casualties.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

"At night, the enemy once again attacked the railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. There were no casualties among passengers or railway workers, everyone was able to take shelter in time," the message says.

As a result of the enemy attack, the station in Pavlohrad, tracks and contact network were damaged.

Also in the morning, a number of suburban trains are traveling on a changed route for security reasons and to be able to quickly repair the damage:

• No. 6272 will run on the Varvarivka - Lozova route (instead of Synelnykovo-1 - Lozova).
• No. 6277 will run on the Lozova - Varvarivka route (instead of Lozova - Dnipro).
• No. 7010 will run on the Kamyanske - Orlivshchyna route (instead of Kamyanske - Kramatorsk).
• No. 6536 will run on the Zaporizhzhia-2- Synelnykovo-1 route (instead of Zaporizhzhia-2 - Lozova).
• The company urged people to plan their trips taking into account these changes and to follow the updates.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of July 24, russian military forces attacked the ports of Odesa, targeting civilian infrastructure facilities and railway rolling stock.

In addition, the night before, the russian occupation army struck the energy infrastructure of Ukrzaliznytsia in the Sumy and Poltava Regions of Ukraine. Power supply has been partially restored, and train traffic is on schedule.
